From the Founder’s Desk
It is with a grateful heart I write to give honor to God for the privilege to serve in accordance with his desires. I want to also express my deepest gratitude to the directors of Eden, and also to the family and friends who have started with us on this Journey, we say a sincere THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS.
Living life to the fullest is living life while making an impact and leaving positive marks on society and the community as we travel through our journey of life. Making an impact does not necessarily mean we have to invest in a large project nor does it mean we have to be extremely rich to put a smile on someone else’s face, but it is simply caring enough to hold each other up and being a vessel of help for our fellow human beings in situations of need. One of our objectives in life should be making the world a better place for ourselves and others.
Our purpose in life is not mainly to live the 3 Ws (Wake, Walk, Work) in the circle of life all by ourselves, we are meant to walk through life showing love, holding each other’s hands, and helping as much as we can. When we run with this purpose, putting smiles on others’ faces will be our most desired need and ultimate goal.
Eden Friends was birthed by friends who saw the need to be a blessing in society and are heartbroken by the suffering and poverty around us. Seeing the pain of friends and families in need of as little as the next meal motivated us to create a haven through which we can assist people. We believe that by helping others, one person at a time, we will together make the world a better place and make an impact in our little way. This will be our greatest joy and achievement.
As friends, we will achieve this purpose by contributing and sharing part of what we have been blessed with by the good Lord. Our goal is to reach one person, one family, or one organization at a time with the support we can offer; financially, morally, spiritually, and in all other areas within our means as we are gracefully empowered by God.
We rise by raising others.
